You can watch some videos without registration — specifically those that offer a “1 view” access option. For all other access types (like multi-view or time-based access) and for viewing photo albums, you’ll need to create a free Watchimo account.
How do I create a Watchimo account?
You can sign up using Google, Facebook, or your email address. If you register by email, you’ll receive a secure login or confirmation link — no passwords are used. Just click the link to log in safely anytime.
How do I purchase access to content?
Simply click on the video or photo album you want to view. You’ll see available pricing options set by the creator (for example, 1 view for $1 or 3 days access for $3). Choose your preferred option, and you’ll be redirected to a Stripe-powered checkout where you can pay securely using your preferred payment method.
Who am I paying when I purchase content?
When you buy access, your payment goes directly to the creator through Stripe. Watchimo adds a small commission on top of the creator’s price — that’s how the platform operates. The transaction is between you and the creator, not you and Watchimo.
How long will I have access after purchasing?
Access depends on the pricing option you selected:<br/><br/><ul><li><b>Per View:</b> You can watch the video for the specified number of views.</li><li><b>Time-based access:</b> You’ll have access for the selected duration (e.g., 1 day, 3 days, etc.).</li><li><b>Unlimited access:</b> You can view the content anytime without expiration.</li></ul><br/><br/>Photo albums are always available for continuous access once purchased.
What if I have an issue with a purchase?
If something goes wrong (e.g., playback issues, content not as described), contact the creator directly through their Watchimo profile. Since payments are processed between you and the creator, they handle refunds or dispute resolutions via their Stripe account.
Can I follow or support creators I like?
Yes! You can follow creators to stay updated with their new uploads, and purchase their content to support them directly. Watchimo is built to strengthen the creator-viewer relationship without ads, algorithms, or intermediaries.
Is my payment information safe?
Absolutely. All transactions are processed by Stripe, one of the world’s most trusted payment platforms. Watchimo never stores or has access to your credit card or banking details.
Can I send tips to my favorite creators?
Yes! You can tip creators to show appreciation. Watchimo automatically adds a 10% commission on top, so your tip goes directly to the creator while covering the platform’s commission.
How do I chat with creators?
You can purchase paid DM packs from a creator’s profile (for example, 10 messages for $10). Each pack allows you to send the specified number of messages in Watchimo’s in-built messenger. Once the messages run out, you can buy another pack to continue chatting.
What if a creator doesn’t respond to my refund request?
If a creator doesn’t respond, contact Watchimo Support. While Watchimo doesn’t process refunds directly, we can review the case and may take action on a creator’s account if they repeatedly ignore valid refund requests.
